In Montgomery County, Maryland, 47,000 jobs could be cannibalized by 2022 if they decide to hike the minimum wage to $15/hour. It’s bad policy, but Democrats think it makes for good politics, even though the middle class and white working class whites aren’t looking to be locked into minimum wage jobs to provide for their families.

Liberals' idea is to increase the pay of menial jobs rather than create / foster an atmosphere to create/bring back higher-paying full-time jobs.

Millionaire lib politicians think they are doing the middle and lower class workers / people a favor by getting increasing the pay of their part-time jobs (originally intended for seasonal out-of-school kids rather than adults trying to support a wife and kids) increase a couple of bucks.

Instead we are seeing more businesses going to kiosks as a result.
