Sept Jobs Report: 885k Full-time jobs lost

Typical con. Divert a thread because good employment numbers get released. :icon_rolleyes:

Did I see one of them say the unemployment numbers aren't real? That's a tactic Trump used. Obama's unemployment numbers were so good Republicans said the number wasn't real. But as soon as Trump got into office and the unemployment rate went down .01%, suddenly it was real and Trump was the greatest president ever because of the number.

Trump passed a huge tax break that we couldn't afford and it caused inflation. So it ate up any gains middle class people got from it. It also added to the debt, which eventually we are going to pay for, most likely in the form of cuts to social security and medicare in 10 years. So like Reagan, Trump fucked us in the future and we don't even know it yet.

And all Trump got out of it was 1% more growth than Obama. Obama had 2.2% gdp and Trump I believe in 2017 or 2019 only had 2.2%. After that tax break to everyone? Clearly his biggest legislative accomplishment didn't do jack shit for the economy.

It's what they always do. When Clinton president, they gave credit for the good economy to Reagan. When it was pointed out to them we had a recession under Bush Sr., so was Reagan responsible for that too, then they said the president didn't get credit for that, the Republican-led Congress did. A premise they dropped in the early days of the real estate bubble before it burst.

Then when Obama was president and unemployment was dropping, they said you can't use the U-3 figures, you had to use the higher U-6 figures. A premise they dropped once Trump was in office.

So here we go again with huge employment numbers under Biden. They're nothing if not consistent.

Or it was Newt. They give that guy credit for the Surplus they say Clinton didn't actually have.

So as usual the government has been lying about the monthly “jobs report”.

When we dive into it, 885,000 full time jobs were lost, while adding 1.1 million part-time jobs as people are forced to get multiple part time jobs for losing their full time job.

I‘m sure the usual suspects will come around to spin this into “Good News” as if it were the Gospel.
Leftist policies encourage part time work and discourage full time work so this is no surprise. Many leftist policies also encourage no work. Let the government take care of you. If businesses won't pay you a living wage then let the government pay you a living wage.
