A bipartisan bid to block President Trump's recently negotiated $110 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia failed in the Senate. The effort to stop the weapons sales, authored by Senators Rand Paul and Chris Murphy, fell short on a 47-53 vote, with four Republicans joining most Democrats in voting against it and five Democrats voting to preserve deals that will arm the Saudi Kingdom with some of the most sophisticated equipment available.

The five democrats who made the passage of the weapons deal possible were Sens. Bill Nelson, Claire McCaskill, Joe Manchin, Joe Donnelly and Mark Warner...

Really disappointed in Mark Warner. Can't give a pass to the 48 Republicans that joined 5 Democrats in allowing this shit though.
 
For running a campaign of absolute viciousness towards Muslims, Trump sure has spent a lot of time buddying up to them and giving them weapons.
 
Exactly how are they sell outs when the Saudi GOV has actually been helping us combat terrorism in the ME?
Do you expect them to do it with sticks and stones?
Not only that, the deal means jobs, and not just for the arms...but there are side deals tied to this where the Saudis are going to make investments in this country.
