Scott Brown - Where does he really stand on the issues?

Why??

Barry sure didn't. He spent more time running for Prez then he did as a Senator. Yet he got elected to the highest office in the land with virtually no experience.

I think Browns got more experience in Govt already compared to OL'BO.

Again. Wil have to wait and see on Brown.

Because YOU sated YOU were hoping to see what sort of Senator he would be? If you can't keep up Claudette, could you at least STFU?

Mayby YOU should keep up there Yank. YOUR the one who says the Reps are desperate for a candidate NOT ME. I would like to see how he does as a Sen. But for experience, he's already got way more than OL'BO does so if he got the nod in 2012. I wouldn't be to upset.

Oh. Bye the way, mayby you should STFU if you can't keep up. LOL

OK. I will take back what I said. Rather than STFU, why don't you simply be honest and state that you could give a rat's ass how Brown does as a senator? If ALREADY you "wouldn't be to upset if he got the nomination", then you really don't.

Okay Yank. I'll give you this one and take back what I said as well.

After thinking about it. I find that I wouldn't be upset if Brown got the nod. This guy has already served in the MA State legislature and has a ton more experience than OL'BO.

I really liked his message during the campaign. Don't know if he would get the nod. I think that would depend on who he was running against. Hell. He might not even want to run for President. Smart man if he doesn't . That, only time will tell.

You DO know that Obama served in the IL legislature, right?

Yes I did. But I had forgotten that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

He served 3 terms in the legislature.

Wonder how come he's not doing any better at being Prez?? Must be his agenda getting in the way.

Obama--3 terms in IL Senate.
Brown--3 terms in MA Senate, 3 terms in MA House.
Winner: Brown.

Thanks. I knew he served in the House, but not the Senate. Guess he does have more experience that OL'BO.

Supports 30,000 more troops in Afghanistan

===============

On another thread, someone wrote that Brown will push for getting us out of Afghanistan. Clearly that is NOT his position.

Voted NO on emerging technologies, math & science Fund

Relevant platform section:part IV: Economic Growth: Workforce Training: "We are aware that one out of three workers in this state need additional skills to maintain their employment in today's changing economy.... In the face of a global economy and advanced technology, workers need ongoing skill development and job training. We support increased public and private funding for business and labor to address the Massachusetts skills gap."

===============

I have also read that Scott Brown will push for jobs and job training. Clearly, he has no desire to push such an agenda.

So the question becomes, "What are Scott Brown's positions and how they compare to those of the people who voted him into office?"

===============

You can find an official listing of Scott Brown's positions here. Compare them to what you think his positions are to get a "feel" of what this new Senator stands for.

Scott Brown on the Issues

In case you are honestly interested in Scott Brown and not just trying to attack him or kiss his ass here are all your answers.

Project Vote Smart - Senator Scott P. Brown - Voting Record

Well he didn't kill a poor young girl while driving drunk so i guess he's got that going for him anyway. As to where he stands on issues,i guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'd say he's already off to a better start than the last guy who held that seat though. Hey just my opinion anyway.

Yea but he never killed a poor young girl while drunk driving so i'd say he really is off to a much better start than the last guy who held that seat no? Go get em Mr. Brown! :)

It was the Independants who got Brown elected.

Will have to see what he does as a Senator.

The Republicans are so desperate for a candidate, they already want him to run for POTUS in 2012. I sure hope he has time to be a senator.

Not that i'm trying to prove you wrong or say Brown is a good canidate BUT let me ask you something.

Who does the Republican side have that is better overall than him? This question is for Va and not you conservatives ;).

Currently, IMHO? The GOP has NO ONE. Not Scott Brown. Not Newt Gingrich. Not Sarah Palin. No one that will appeal to the masses. If you cannot appeal to the masses, you might as well be named Ron Paul.

I think he's against ditching a mistress in 20 feet of water.
Hmmmmmm ... you'd hope ... but ... if she was raped and the emergency room personal decided their religion was more important than hers and refused to give her the 48 hour pill, Brown would be A-Okay with that.

I wonder what Brown's first scandal will be?
