I keep hearing 'if you can't find a job then go back to school (college)'. Wow! An easy fix. Schools are not the solution to economic woes. You need strong and reliable industries to begin with. Schools, or more to the point here colleges, are a method to get you into an industry of your choice; an industry that is hopefully viable, competitive and can guarantee you some kind of longevity above three months! In other words, one that actually works.
If you're going to outsource your work or allow board members to take a hefty pay rise (even for poor performance or losses), for example, then what good is a sound college education if there isn't a stable industry to begin with?
