Ayers and Obama both served at the "Woods Fund" in Chicago. A foundation set up by ultra conservative and life long Republican Frank Woods and his wife and run by their children and grandchildren. All are Republicans. All are out of step with today's current Republicans because they are also community organizers and believe in helping the disadvantaged.

Obama and Ayers served on different boards of the same foundation.
The day the Republicans went nuts about, Obama being in Ayers home for a fundraiser, Obama also visited 20 other homes that day.

When Ayers did what he did, Obama was 8 years old and living in Hawaii.
