Jim Guinn Sr. obituary from the HET South Texas Chapter newsletter
Just got the news from his son that USMB veteran Jim Guinn "Impenitent"
passed away last October, leaving behind a daughter and a Veteran son with grandkids.
And a host of poetry and songs mocking rightwing politics from an old
School Democrat perspective (including a Musical on Mitt Romney
and a poem about Obama that got him banned off a website or two).
I had started trying to edit Jim's work on a blog
www.jimguinn.com
www.jimguinn.net
but didn't get very far.
He has more work, and has gotten booted off more political forums and in trouble with more
mods and websites than I could ever claim as a fellow patron of the art of political parody.
If anyone has links to his threads, posts or messages you would like to add here,
please join in this tribute to our good friend "Impenitent" I was very fortunate to know
and share our love of writing in the short time our lives crossed paths.
Special thanks to USMB for making that window possible
that shed light and laughter in some very unfunny areas of politics.
Will truly miss my friend and his delightful stories songs and poems.
With love and respect, and
Hats off to Jim!
