Looks comfortable compared to what we had for accommodations when I was in the us army. At least we (US) don't have the ability to commandeer a private citizens home to occupy it (against our creed)...we slept in the open or under the truck.

Someone should tell the Russian Soldiers Mothers Group that those young sons of theirs could be dead next week...if they start invading the Ukraine...Ukrainian soldiers have threatened to tear Russian soldiers apart with their bare hands.
Oh a bloodbath it will surely be.

The Ukraine will fall, but there sure will be tens of thousands of Russian soldiers...sons of Russian moms...dead, no more alive, no more happy birthdays with their families, tens of thousands of grieving Russian moms everywhere.
For what, exactly?
Russia is not defending itself, no one is attacking Russia.

In a speech to conservative think-tank the Danube Institute in Hungary, Mr Abbott criticised European countries for not being willing to give more help to Ukraine to defend itself from Russia.
Mr Abbott famously vowed to shirtfront Russian President Vladimir Putin after the Malaysian Airlines MH17 flight was shot down by a missile in 2014.
He said President Putin saw himself as the “new Tsar determined to restore greater Russia”.

Foreign Minister Marise Payne says countries in the region have reason to be concerned.

It is entirely possible that Putin has overreached in his aggression towards Ukraine. Ukraine is not the same country it was in 2014. They have vastly superior weaponry than they had in the earlier Russian aggression and their nationalism is now off the charts. Putin may see his popularity plumet in Russia if the expected attack becomes bogged down, as it did in Afghanistan.

Plus, if he has his eyes on Poland, we need to remember, Poland is a member of NATO. He would be facing the NATO alliance he if decides to invade Poland. I don't think he will be willing to up the stakes to that degree, in his apparent quest to reinstate the satellite countries of the old Soviet Union.
