If that is the case, why is it that the Republican Party has only elected six blacks to major offices in the last 50 years? Their record of nominating and electing black republicans is abysmal. Sure, race doesn't matter to Conservatives.......but they will be damned if they will vote for one

Since 1930, I think the number of black republican elected to Congress is something like 5.

Compared to nearly 100 democrats in that same time frame.

Republicans have elected one black Senator and five Congressmen during that timeframe. They have never elected a black governor or president That is compared to thousands of white candidates they elected.

Then they have the gall to claim "Race does not matter to us".

But you cant prove why asswipe. We must ignore many things to entertain your complete ignorance.

To ignore the racial history of this country is just plain ignorant. Race has always been an issue in this country and will be for some time to come. The election of a black president was a significant milestone in achieving a non racial environment......one worthy of a Nobel Prize

As long as people look at someone's "race" over their qualifications and ability to do a particular job, I'm sure it will be.

Republicans putting their heads in the sand and pretending that racism does not exist or that it has a significant role in their party is laughable.

A party that accepts the concept of throwing out a test or manipulating its results, because there wasn't enough minorities with the ability to pass the exam on their own, is a shame and a disgrace to people like Martin Luther King.
