Hold on, she herself may be a Trump supporter but the show is very realistic as to what is going on in our country right now. So I guess I say, she is an opportunist. What makes a great show is how people relate to it. There are millions of families out there that argue with each other over who they voted for this past election. Hence the Roseanne and Jackie storyline. It's not just Trump supporters who watched but both sides.

She said her own family has been riven since the election and though she is a TRUMP fan, she wanted a way to square of the 2 sides with some humor, finding a way to talk about it. Frankly, if it is FUNNY and the writing is well done, I have NO PROBLEM with it. I didn't see the show so I don't know if they pulled it off.
