Ron DeSantis on Monday released his “No Excuses” immigration enforcement platform, which officially classifies stopping migration as a military operation and endorses the use of “deadly force” against migrants suspected of running drugs.

With that, the competition to determine which Republican presidential candidate wants most to invade Mexico has just intensified.

Republican candidates Tim Scott, Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley had echoed Donald Trump’s language that the U.S. needs to carry out some kind of military mission in Mexico.

The competition to determine which Republican presidential candidate wants most to invade Mexico has just intensified.

As NBC News reports, DeSantis, who made a visit to the border Sundayto tease his campaign points, is going further than even Trump has gone on immigration. He has claimed that Trump is just “a different guy than 2015, 2016.”

DeSantis’ 2024 strategy appears to be to take the Trump rhetoric that equated Mexicans to rapists and make it even more extreme. He calls his plan “No Excuses” to argue that Trump didn’t follow through on his anti-immigrant rhetoric.

“It is hard to overstate the dangerous implications of Ron DeSantis’ approach to immigration,” Zachary Mueller, political director of the immigrant rights group America’s Voice, said Tuesday.

“From ‘invasion’ to ‘deadly force’ to ‘stone cold dead’ to ‘act of war’ to ‘a duty to protect the country,’ he is relying on and mainstreaming a collection of phrases and ideas that are flat-out incitements to violence and have been linked to domestic terror attacks by white nationalists.” Mueller also said DeSantis’ “dangerous language and ideas should be viewed through the lens of public safety more than political positioning and horse race maneuvering.

We cannot become numb to this stuff.”

How is Fascist DeSantis going to stop USA gun runners from arming the cartels in Mexico? By the truck loads from America to Mexico.

This invasion mentality will get a lot of USA soldiers killed.

Meth is the most dangerous drug problem in the USA which can be manufactured in the USA without foreign ingredients.

Ammonia Nitrate is a chief ingredient that can be stolen from
USA farmers. Meth most likely stimulates a lot of violence due to the the impact on the human nervous system.

DeSantis is an idiot. We knew that when he rounded up aliens in Texas on Florida's dime, to transport to Martha's Vinyard unannounced for his stunt, as he could not find any in Florida.

Set up a hotline for tips. Truckers get in everywhere and probably could tell you where most of em work. When nobody speaks Engrish except whitey....that's a blue clue.

Our next president should be an electrician who has worked with High voltage for the last 20 years min and survived. At least then we can have someone who can operate a toaster and gain the respect of our allies.

But for those just starting out, the prospect of kick-starting a campaign, running a hackathon or planning a protest can be daunting.

The ACLU believes that the system of electing candidates to federal office is badly in need of repair.

Our democracy shouldn't be bought and paid for by the wealthy and powerful. We need big structural changes to campaign finance laws to get big money out of ...

My personal opinion is that we should, with the Mexican government's permission of course, destroy all the cartel's processing sites using drones armed with Hellfire missles.
There may be a little collateral damage, but it would scare the living hell out of those animals.
And no US casualties.

Fascist DeSantis going down = too inept and racist to be president

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is devoting his summer to playing catch-up on the campaign trail. After he spent most of last year as the presumed toughest challenge to former President Donald Trump’s reclaiming the GOP nomination, his poll numbers have slowly eroded.

You’d think, then, that given the chance to explain why he’d be a better choice than Trump, he’d seize on the moment.

At his New Hampshire town hall, DeSantis took unscripted questions from the audience, something he’d avoided doing during his last swing through the state.

He may have regretted that choice, though: A high school student stumped him by asking whether Trump had “violated the peaceful transfer of power” after the 2020 election and leading up to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. DeSantis said he “didn’t enjoy seeing what happened” that day but quickly pivoted to an attack on President Joe Biden.

If the election is “about relitigating things that happened two, three years ago,” DeSantis insisted, “we’re going to lose.”

That’s a hell of a missed chance to hammer home how Trump’s recklessness isn’t what the country needs moving forward. It might have gotten some side-eyes from some in the crowd, but it would have at least reminded them why they were there and not at the rally Trump was holding 30 miles away.

While DeSantis has at least started to (very, very) mildly criticize Trump, he has held back from the sort of all-out denunciations that we’ve heard from former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson.

Liz Cheney will kick his ass which will be disturbingly humiliating to a MAN...................

Fascist DeSantis is pro life BUT throwing troops under the bus as in getting them killed to satisfy his need to look tough
is okay ............ hmmmmmmmm it's a contradiction I say.

A U.S. Governor has no power to send troops to Mexico. This is a left wing fantasy. Funny the same left wing patriots didn't bat an eye when Barry Hussein authorized the shipment of thousands of illegal weapons to Mexican drug cartels under the laughably named "Operation Fast/Furious and one of them turned up in the murder of a Border Patrol Officer.
