Romney Is Milquetoast. Go With Rick Perry...

What about my "Paul rhetoric" do you object to? Just curious?

I object to none because you have none. I was wrong, he did not take the political courage test. He has no stance other then No and No Vote. Look at his record.

So which Candidate do you support?

Not Romney, Bachmen, Pawlenty, Paul, or Huntsmen. I like Cain because he has never been to Washington. I would like it if West would run. Maybe Ted Poe, but he has issues as well. I need to read up on them more to be sure when its time to vote, but I wont do a "Anyone but Obama Vote". I dont think our country can take it. Hit the link. Read up on them.

Cain's ok but he wont be the Nominee either. West will be a great candidate in the future. But not right now. I wont be voting for the Socialists/Progressives staying in power. I'll go with the most Conservative-leaning Candidate available. But hey, that's just me. Dr. Paul is the most Conservative-leaning Candidate in my opinion. I hope he gets the Nomination but i know it's not likely. I'm sorry you don't like Paul. He really is a great man.

That is the worst reason ever. You like Cain cause he never went to Washington? Then you must also like every serial killer and rapist who never went to Washington either, right? Hey, maybe you like the Taliban too, they never went to Washington.

Guess what, Herman Cain worked for the Federal Reserve. That's just as bad as the Federal Government, if not worse.

And btw, that's a stupid criteria. Just because you've been a Congressman or Senator, doesn't mean that you can automatically dismiss them because of the problems caused by the Executive branch and the global elites that control it.

People like Ron and Rand Paul and Dennis Kucinich have definitely showed that Washington didn't change them at and that they defended Liberty all the way through.

My hang up with Paul is neglect of his district. he has the voters that keep him ware he is, so he ignores the others. I am also scared he will lib out when it counts. Sadly, I feel you are right about Cain. That Rubio cat looks promising in the future as well.

I will say this, I have an EXTREME bias against Paul, because I live in his district. I will post a link to his voting record, as well as Ted Poe and the readers can compare and chose. Paul is a super lib and nothing more. You should see how much of his district is on food stamps.

Ron Paul voting record- Project Vote Smart - Representative Ronald E. 'Ron' Paul - Voting Record

Ted Poe- Project Vote Smart - Representative Ted Poe - Voting Record

And this on Dick Perry- Project Vote Smart - Governor Rick Perry - Issue Positions (Political Courage Test)

Governor Rick Perry refused to tell citizens where he/she stands on any of the issues addressed in the 2010 Political Courage Test, despite repeated requests from Vote Smart, national media, and prominent political leaders.

This candidate has demonstrated 0% courage during the test.

*Note: This percentage is calculated based on the number of issue areas addressed by the candidate on the Political Courage Test at the conclusion of the testing period. It does not indicate support or lack of support by Project Vote Smart.
Project Vote Smart does not permit the use of its name or programs in any campaign activity, including advertising, debates, and speeches.

You can only see what he vetoed. If it were Paul and Perry I dont know what I would, but if Poe were in there I would vote for him. As it is Herman Cain will get my vote. Allen West if he were to run. I WILL SAY HATS OFF TO PAUL FOR DOING THE POLITICAL COURAGE TEST, but only grudgingly.

Ok, why did you post Ron Pauls voting record as if it indicts him. I just read the link to his voting record you posted and he voted consistently Libertarian on every issue.

Why do you support Ted Poe? He voted FOR the Patriot Act and against Medical Marijuana. That's global fascist dictatorship.

Not meant to bash, just to educate. My guy Poe has some issues as well. I will let you find them. My beef with Paul is his treatment of his constituents, and his neglect of his district. You think I am hard on Ron Paul ? dont even get me started on Hutchenson, or Cornin ! We are at a dangerous time in our electoral history. the danger being that we can get another dud on the "anyone but him" vote. You will see that he has left other areas blank.

Forget about Mitt Romney. He cannot beat Obama. He just doesn't have IT. Rick Perry on the other hand, has the Fire. He really does remind me of Ronald Reagan. He makes no apologies and just doesn't care what the Left-MSM says about him. And that's how Ronald Reagan was. The Left-MSM is going to smear all Republican Candidates anyway. We all know that and Perry knows that too. I like Perry's style. He will stand up to them. Romney is just too weak. Obama will beat him pretty easily. Perry is not the ideal Conservative Candidate but his Job-Creation Numbers are second to none. His Job-Creation Record beats any and all Democratic Candidates. And that includes the current President. So it's time to forget about Mitt Romney. It's time to go with Rick Perry instead. What do you think?

I don't know enough about him yet, but I would like to see him run. He has a few things I know I like right off the bat:

- Been a governor
- Been re-elected as governor (3 times)
- Seems to be able to speak in something approaching an articulate manner
- Hated by the Left (any candidate not reviled by the Left is a non-starter)

So, let him run and let's see what happens.

And i'll still put Rick Perry's Texas Job-Creation Record up against any other Governor/President in this Country. He has created Jobs while all others have lost Millions of Jobs. I don't see the Democrats offering a better Candidate than Rick Perry.

Republicans don't vote for congressman or senators to be President. That's just a historical fact. They did it one time -- Warren G. Harding and look what a success that was. (Teapot Dome)

Republicans vote for chief executives Governors and Generals and damned little else (like former VPs and I would argue both of those were mistakes). So, don't hate on the messenger those are just the facts. If you want to win, put up a former chief executive that meets all the other criteria, otherwise the Republican candidate will lose.

Dr. Paul is the obvious choice but it just isn't gonna happen. So i have to move on and live in the real world. I'm not willing to allow the Socialists/Progressives to stay in power and destroy the nation even more. I have to go with the most viable Conservative Candidate available. It's another one of those 'hold your nose and Vote' situations. The Socialists/Progressives got to go. And if that means voting for Mitt Romney than so be it. But i prefer Rick Perry.

What about Romney isn't socialist/progressive? His big gov't healthcare?

Libo sadly the closer and closer we get to the election the more and more partisan you sound :(.

I was hoping you weren't one of those who talks like an independent between elections, then becomes a partisan during the campaigns.

Sorry you feel that way. Obviously i want Dr. Paul to win the Nomination but i know that's not gonna happen. So i'm just playing the cards i'm being dealt. I'm not gonna help the Socialists/Progressives stay in power. They've done way too much damage to allow them to stay in power. But i do hear ya on Romney. He's certainly not my ideal Conservative but i'll do what i have to do to get the Socialists/Progressives out of there. Even Perry isn't my ideal Conservative but he'll have to do i guess. Gotta play the cards you're dealt in the end.

They're 2 cheeks of the same backside. Don't fall for this game again, we were told how much more of a conservative Bush was than Clinton and how he'd scale back gov't and we learned the opposite to be true, the same will happen in 2012 or more likely 2016 when a rep gets in office and proves to be even more liberal than Obama is.

Perry wont explain himself on his issues. And he was a democrat and switched over. He still tends socialist at times. Careful who you vote for.

Sad that Dick cant get past a sad sack like Romny. If you want amnesty, vote Perry. If you want toll roads owned by foreign country's, vote Perry. Check him out on Politifact, hell dig through the archives of Texas news papers you will see He aint what you want.
He's another George Bush.

He's not the ideal Conservative Candidate but he'll have to do. The Socialists/Progressives are not a viable alternative for me. Romney only means another victory for the Socialists/Progressives. I'm willing to give Rick Perry a chance. He's definitely more Conservative than what we have running the country right now. I have to take what i can get at this point. Romney has no chance. Period, end of story.

your problem is you don't know what a socialist or a progressive is. most dems are not progressives and certainly they aren't socialists.

but don't let facts get in the way of your stereotypes.

as for perry. no he can't beat obama. the only one who could is mitt.... maybe

but you're so out of touch and so wacked in your politics that you don't understand that you aren't mainstream.

Yes and no, That Bush was socialist, was no secret. He did not hide that fact and even invented a catch phrase for it. Remember compassionate conservative ? He got out debt mess rolling, but he did not hide his views. He was honest about them unlike Obama. Perry is sneaky about it. Perry will say one thing and do another until the voter burn his ass over it. that is his only saving grace. Still if asked, no one can say exactly what this "fire" is and thay cant bring forward any of his policy's that have made Texas what it is.

Perry wont explain himself on his issues. And he was a democrat and switched over. He still tends socialist at times. Careful who you vote for.

Reagan was a democrat and switched over, so what is your point?

Oh and can you be more specific about his socialist tendencies?

Who did you vote for the last presidential election?

My hang up with Paul is neglect of his district. he has the voters that keep him ware he is, so he ignores the others.
Could you define "neglect" please? Paul represents his district. He was elected to exercise his best judgment on the questions before him. By neglect do you mean he doesn't vote the way all of his constituents want? A majority of his constituents? Some of his constituents? Or, by "neglect", do you mean Paul doesn't bring home the pork from the federal swill?

I live in Paul's district and most of his constiuents like the job he's done and most would support his bid for President.

The one who was not Obama. Yes, I threw down for some D's in my life to. I make it a point to know my candidates . I will admit the socialist thing is just shittyness on my part.

What are the closest cross streets to you. Not ware you are at, but in the neighborhood so to speak. I may have to buy you lunch and take you on a tour.
