Robot kill switches & legal status: MEPs endorse AI proposal
A European Parliament committee has voted in favor of a draft report that proposes granting legal status to robots, categorizing them as “electronic persons”.
The draft report, approved by 17 votes to two and two abstentions by the European Parliament Committee on Legal Affairs, proposes that “The most sophisticated autonomous robots could be established as having the status of electronic persons with specific rights and obligations, including that of making good any damage they may cause.”

The one thing that is being taken away from humans sucked into the techie trap, is ethics and morals.
As the nutjobs who continue to create this great technology which is great to have they just keep taking it further and further way beyond where it should be taken. But, as doubts pour in the con jobs keep getting sold bigger and bigger continuing the flow of acceptance. The sad part you can't prove it to most of the numb skulls until it's to late and often results won't start to show in large numbers until years later.

Think of the reality here as you see those " MOVIES" which I have mentioned in the past are methods used to get the public aklimated into seeing this kind of stuff. By doing so it generates a public reaction to acceptance when the real thing comes out.

Moves like IROBOT
