Lack of playoff victories was the only obstacle that kept him out of the Hall Of Fame.

Being an Eagles fan I of course remember him with birds and won comeback player of the year in 1973.

Talented QB, but I rarely saw him play. They didn't show many Rams nor Eagles games in Cleveland. Back then the NFL wasn't broadcasting so many games each week. Always remember him as a Ram. Him and Tommy McDonald.
