Right Wing Posters! What are your REAL expectations for Nov 2nd?

I've heard words like "drubbing", "bloodbath", "wiped out", "destroyed", "decimated", "crying in their defeat" and so on when referring to what will happen to the Democrats after the November 2nd election....but I am seeing little or no specifics? Generalizations are cheap....but I'd like some Righties (especially those like LibocalypseNow, Willow Tree, The T, bigrebnc1775, The Rabbi, Lonestar_Logic, and USArmyRetired) to clarify what they consider a win for their side. What constitutes a drubbing? What constitutes a bloodbath? and so on and so forth....

Maybe even step up and state who's gonna win what specific races.....

I have no "expectation".

I don't know what is going to happen. I suppose it depends on who shows up at the polls more than anything else.

My personal opinion is that I don't care which party wins. Both of them have screwed us in the past and both have every intention of screwing us for the next two years, so what the heck difference does it make.

My preference would be to see the Republicans get at least enough votes to slow down the train wreck that the Obama administration is leading us towards. I don't know if that will happen or not.

50-55 seats in the House, 7-8 seats in the Senate.

It's going to be interesting watching Republicans support tax increases in 2-4 years.

It will be interesting to watch them cut the size, and budget, of government.

*This is their mandate* If they don't at least set the wheels in motion and show they're trying? They'll be out again. They're on thin ice as it is. (Make that probation with the people).

Yes, that's why it will be extraordinary: It is completely against their nature, and the stated objectives of the executive.

The R's have already put forth their customary bullshit plan: Decreasing the budget by $1 B OVER A TEN YEAR PERIOD!

Bullshit! I wanna see $1 Trillion cut, yesterday!

Indeed. They need to recoup (For you Statist Democrats, this means pay for) The failed Stimulus.

I offer the above helpful Douche-nozzle edthesickdick-to-English translator service in the interest of better communication.

No need to thank me.

Thank me very much.

I guess altering poster's posts without permission is back in style.

I guess you're stupid, since I never said it went out of style. But thanks for being topical.

The above sentence isn't entirely true. It's not a guess.

What's the matter boredtoseeya, you think you're the only one who gets her username tweaked?

I'd hate to see you take an enforced vacation, Liability. There are few bannable offenses around here, but I believe altering quotes is one of them.

There are going to be both major spending cuts and tax increases some time during the next five years. If I were to guess, spending cuts will be two-thirds to three-quarters of the total, tax increases the rest. And of course, they won't be called "tax increases" given that tax increases are suicide for any Republican politician. They will be called something like "supplementary revenue measures."

I altered no quotes.

I deleted the gibberish, interjected my commentary in BRACKETS and then noted what I had done (translator service). Thus, there was no alteration whatsoever since nobody reading my editorial insertion could honestly confuse my editorial effort with what HAD been written.

But I did misread boredtoseeya's post. I thought she was braying about the username. It didn't occur to me that she might be talking about an actual POST alteration since I hadn't done that.

And we will see right through it. They raise taxes one red cent? They're toast. People demand cuts in government...and if it means consolidation? Gubmint employees losing their jobs? So be it.

It's the mandate.

They'll just do what Bush did, Put $1 Trillion OFF BUDGET. Problem solved.

And again? We'll see through it. And they'll be TOAST.

Union rank and file are going to deposit a massive pile of crap where Barack Obama's shoes are.

Between the Union Leadership, and Obama? I wonder how the rank and file Union members feel about being used as political pawns?

They love being on the recieving end of the dems whip..... :whip:

It would seem that way wouldn't it? What are the Unions but a Corporation of Labor unto themselves?

And in my view should be treated by the Statist Democrats as any corporation they demonize.

I hate to say it, well really I don't, but I think that if Republicans do raise taxes, the majority of their supporters will come up with some excuse as to why it was necessary and say that Obama would have done worse.

Maybe you won't but I suspect that a hell of a lot of people will.

And they'll get nailed if they do.

You didn't see through Bush's deficit spending, you'll be just as blind. There are some CON$ here who STILL think Bush's biggest deficit was $400 billion.

BOOOOOOOOooooooOOOOOOOSH.

Get the fuck over throwing out the same old the stupid partisan red herring already.

I expect R's to offer something half assed, and it won't have a goddamn thing to do with Bush. Idiot Boehner has already shown his colors and its a huge yellow streak running up his Dem-Lite back.

I know it's too much to expect ......and that's why there may not be a God in heaven......but Bwarney Fwanks gotta go.

Another reason why there may not be a God in heaven is that the utterly bogus recycled failure California Politico Jerry Brown (he even looks like some sort of ghastly apparition) should simply be transformed into a pillar of salt and get blown away....not that California, or even the politically fucked up Frisco (they hate that monicker) .... are Gomorrah.
