Republicans are saying that Donald Trump just wanted to say that he won at something, so he didn't care giving Democrats the victory they got in this trade deal.
Republicans think the deal was "not in their favor":
The revised trade agreement with Canada and Mexico won the enthusiastic support of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka on Tuesday, with the union’s backing signaling to many Republicans that the trade deal was perhaps not in their favor.
Too many concessions:
The disagreement came amid signs of growing GOP discontent with multiple accommodations President Trump has made to win support from Democrats to secure legislative victories.

Pelosi tried to butcher the original agreement. That's why she sat on it for a year, so she could work in special protections and probably the typical leftist bloat to allow her friends to skim money out of the system. This is why I wish we had a limited line item veto.

Some really good legislation is ruined by some poor legislators.
Nancy Pelosi is a bad legislator.

Do you think Anti-Trump Republicans will kill the deal because it was a win/win solution, with Trump calling it a "Silver lining to impeachment" after deal was struck and announced, and He added, the emphasis was put on the pact, calling it "one of the greatest trade deals ever made for our country,"? My degrees were in business, not Poly Sci. Generally win/win agreements and contracts were something to strive for.

Really? You mean actually sticking to a contract? Most contracts now days are so full of legal atrocities (mumbo jumbo) one has to hire a lawyer to read them- after they sign it of course, ala Nancy Pelosi-

The states of the US signed a contract with the fed gov't- the constitution- which has been largely ignored, so that is out the window as a win/win.

Large multinational agreements can be viewed not only as fixing what is agreed to, but as full employment acts for lawyers.
