Republicans finally got around to screwing over our veterans.

As per usual, the rest of the story isn't told.

Right from that website.

"What they don’t bother stating here is that the VA is getting a $4.6 billion budget increase (or 5.6 percent) over 2015.

The $1.4 billion cut is simply reducing the increase that was originally proposed. They are still getting more money than before".

And here's the link that was given.

What the hell?

It's the freaking Appropriations Committee Website for crying out loud.
There are Democrats on the Appropriations Committee as well.

This isn't some blog out there. It has the highlights of the legislation and links to the draft of the bill.

I'm linking you to your government.

For the complete text of the Subcommittee Draft of the FY 2016 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations bill, please visit: http://appropriations.house.gov/UploadedFiles/BILLS-114HR-SC-AP-FY2016-MilCon-SubcommitteeDraft.pdf
A mere third are Democrats.
That means there is nothing the Democrats can do. Duh!

That's the way the cookie crumbles when you win a majority. Deal with it. They still have input.

But the link is directly to the Appropriations Committee website.A no freaking spin zone with the draft legislation right on the website.

It's not a "republican website or blog" for crying out loud.
