Report: Trump team wants Netanyahu at inauguration

I love it. All these dudes so ready to call 'Commie' only a month ago now in love with an ex KGB officer. I'd say it couldn't get better but it always has.
In love? You are out in the dark. obama makes Putin look good, that's how bad he is. You drank the government Kool-Aid and are willing to believe whatever they tell you. Don't try to make that a shortcoming on somebody else.

One thing about Trump is that he manages to keep his enemies off balance. Inviting Netanyahu is a stroke of genius and a poke in the eye of the Obama administration.

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is being "aggressively courted" to attend the inauguration by the Trump team, according to a report on Saturday by the New York Post.

President-elect Donald Trump's transition team, led by Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, has been pushing for Netanyahu to attend the January 20th festivities and for the two world leaders to meet before then, a source told the Post.

"There's a plan for Trump to meet with Netanyahu," said the source. "They're talking all the time. And Netanyahu is talking about possibly going to the inauguration."

Earlier in December, Netanyahu spoke warmly of Trump in a CBS interview. “His attitude, his support for Israel is clear. He feels very warmly about the Jewish state, about the Jewish people and about Jewish people. There is no question about that,” he said.

Last week, Trump spoke out in defense of Israel regarding the recent UN security council resolution condemning settlements and Secretary of State John Kerry's speech on Middle East peace.

Speaking to press outside of his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, Trump said that he and Kerry "have different views." Later on during the conference, the president-elect said that "Israel has been treated very, very unfairly by a lot of different people." He criticized the UN for its harsh stance on Israel, charging that the body had meanwhile failed to reprimand "horrible places that treat people horribly."

Trump also addressed Israel prior to Kerry's speech, writing on Twitter: "[Israel] used to have a great friend in the U.S., but... not anymore. The beginning of the end was the horrible Iran deal, and now this (U.N.)!"

He also criticized the White House for its treatment of Israel over the course of the last eight years.

“We cannot continue to let Israel be treated with such total disdain and disrespect,” the president-elect tweeted, noting both Resolution 2334 as well as the Obama administration’s role in brokering an international nuclear deal with Iran.

“Stay strong Israel, January 20th is fast approaching!”

Sure, but please consider this. Ever since trump admitted bush lied us into Iraq and we all understand what a horrible decision that was now, keep in mind Israel was on board the entire time and even one of Bush's biggest defenders. It even got democratic Jew Lieberman to side with Republicans.

So while 3 out of 4 prefer Jews to Muslims, 3 out of 4 do not agree with Israel policies.

Israel will be on board with us if the GOP start a war with Iran. In fact they've been pushing for it for 16 years. Do 3 out of 4 Americans agree?

This reminds me of the time before bush lied us into Iraq. Today you say "Democrats voted for it" well that's just playing politics. You know the gop conned the world and not even convincingly. That's why even Canada didn't go along. So obvious now.

Well I can't wait to see where the GOP war on terror takes us

Of course as usual all your facts are wrong. All the intel on Iraq was made available to all the members of Congress and Kerry, Biden and Clinton were among the strongest advocates of the war. The Israeli government, however, was not. Sharon was the PM at the time and he publicly urged Bush not to invade.

To your tiny racist mind, this may be about Jews and Muslims, but to 4 out of 5 Americans it about choosing between a liberal democracy, Israel, and the cluster of terrorist groups that make up the leaderships of the Palestinians.

Israel may have to go to war with Iran, but it is capable of destroying what targets it must without any help from the US, however, Congress has already passed legislation promising economic, diplomatic and logistical support for Israel if it does attack Iran. The American people will want to keep the US out of the fighting if possible but will stoutly support the Israelis in their efforts. Unlike America's other important allies, Israel has never asked the US to risk the lives of its soldiers in its defense.

No, that's the lie. Congress was given access to all the intel and leading Democrats were so eager to seem tough on security after 911 they lined up to be counted as for the war on Iraq. It turned out there were no wmd's and that's when these dim Dems began claiming "we was lied to" how could that have been when all the intel was available to them.

Chaney cherry picked what evidence they were given. Some of it was bad.

They took his word just like we all did. Big mistake.

But I agree they voted for it to seem tough on terror. I remember how much bush played that card. If Democrats didn't sign they weren't supporting the troops.
