record deficit

Only 1800 for me.

But I’m hearing many people with more bills than I have didn’t get so much back. Or nothing.

May have helped if they had a job....dumbass.
Actually the facts say that the majority of Americans aren’t saving enough for retirement. Not because they won’t save but because they can’t. Big difference.

A lot different after unions and the new deal era 1950-2000. The rich started waging war on labor in the late 70s. We’ve been losing for 50 years. And you all don’t even blame the gop. Lol

Yep, if I'm not mistaken, in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's we didn't have iPhones, the internet, satellite TV, Starbucks, and $100 sneakers.

What is your point? I can name 1000 things we didn't have back then that we had now. So what? What is your point? Say it! Say people are not saving because they are spending more than they should. That was your excuse in the 2000's but it was a lie then and it's still a lie now. Economists look at what people are making and they've determined that it's almost impossible for most people to save any money. Or, enough to be able to retire at 67. Sad. You're probably one of them yet you ignorantly advocate for this type of fucked up economy where only the rich are doing ok.

Stupid fuckers all of you. Thank god you aren't bringing me down with you.

Ok, people are not saving because they're spending more than they should. You are one stupid POS, I suppose you feel they'd save more if others paid for it.

If you had 2 kids, a mortgage, student loans and you made how would you save?

Middle-income families earn a median annual income of slightly more than $78,000 -- and haven't seen their earnings improve much since 2000, Pew said.

Knowing that middle class is $78,000,

median annual income of $60,336 across the entire United States

So how are families making less than $60,000 suppose to save?

Hell, I make $90 and don't have any kids/debt/student loans and I'm hoping I will save enough to retire. I'm sure I will but when will I reach $1 million. They say that's what you need to retire.

Are you even middle class?

Cut the size of Government.

Cut down to zero the benefits given to Illegals and other Free Loaders.

Government Spending and Taxation are destroying Economic Growth and always outpace wage growth.

Have a Constitutional Amendment for a Balanced Budget and put a Nail in The Coffin of Leftist Socialist who are Hell Bent in to spending America in to Bankruptcy.

Americans Don’t Save for Retirement Because They Don’t Make Enough Money

America’s retirement crisis wasn’t created because of character flaws or personal irresponsibility. Nor can it realistically be fixed by technocratic fixes.

The ugly, unspoken truth is that many people are just not earning enough money. They barely have enough to cover their daily expenses; they don’t have enough left over to be able to save.

The truth hurts

Christ sake, you really are that stupid. I agree, people don't save enough. Why is that? Because they don't make enough? How fricken stupid can you possibly get.

You are half right, people do not save enough. But for most it is not because they are not paid enough, it is because they have to have the latest phone and 500 channels of shit on the TV and eat out 3 times a week.

I provided a link to an article that explains how you are not correct. It's that people aren't making enough to save. Now can you provide a link to any articles or studies that prove your opinion or is this strictly conjecture on your part?

When I get home I will check out your article.

Almost one household out of every four (24.9 percent) makes less than $25,000 a year. About one in three households (30.1 percent) made between $50,000 and $100,000.

One in five households (19.9 percent) made more than $100,000 a year.

So 25% make less than 25K
25% of Americans make more than $25K but less than 50K
30% make $50-$100K
20% make more than $100K

I'm saying only about 35% of these people make enough to save for retirement.

Blabla right wing talking points pulled from the Bush era.

And you'll find an article that will explain how people make PLENTY of money to save they just don't.

Because again, this sounds like another right wing talking point that I used to hear a lot during the Bush 2000's. Tired old arguments coming back out.

It’s crazy.

The left refused to criticize O’s debt and now the right refuses to criticize Donnie’s debt.

Hell...the left likes to stupidly claim O had to do it to save the economy. Proof propaganda works.

When Trump gets even close to the $10 trillion Obama racked up call us.
Nice try, dipshit. You fuckwits attacked Obama's spending right out of the gate.

How DO you stand the stench of your own hypocrisy?

Notice that as Trump spends more and more, the fuckwits increase the amount they claim Obama spent?

First, it was 8 trillion of debt which Obama caused. Now it's 10 trillion.

When Trump surpasses 10 trillion of debt, the fuckwits will claim Obama increased the debt by 20 trillion!

Mark my words.

I find it interesting that:

Progs complain about budget when debt has actually slowed on Trump's watch. Bush doubled the debt, Obama doubled the debt. Trump will not follow suit, and may not even match Obama despite paying interest on Bush/Obama debt and having a greater GDP.

Progs complain about budget when they desire reparations, and passing college debt onto the government.

Progs complain about budget when they desire open borders. All while statistics prove immigrants receive more entitlements than citizens by household.

Progs complain about budget when they desire free healthcare, especially for illegals.

I find it interesting that:

Put down the crack pipe, retard. Trump has DOUBLED the deficit since taking office. You have to be living in a cave and suffering from seven pounds of brain damage to be stupid enough to claim the debt has slowed.

Jesus H. Christ!

Trump's well on his way to busting Obama's record wide open. And that's with an economy that's supposedly going gangbusters!

And go ahead and claim I did not care about the debt while Obama was on watch. I dare you.

Thanks for calling me right wing! I do not get that much on here! :21:

Here is my talking point for you. Anyone that has a smart phone with a data plan and says they do not make enough to save is lying.

Anyone that eats out once a week and says they do not make enough to save is lying.

Ah. If you eat out at McDonald's you are a slothful person!

Wow. So now anyone who has a smartphone, basically a necessity in this day and age, and anyone who even eats out once a week is spending too much? Get the fuck out of here.

I know what you are saying. My grandmother made minimum wage but she still was able to save. Of course she had some incentive. Remember we were getting around 10% on our savings accounts? Man I wish it was like that today. I just put $20K in a 13 month investment and I'm only gettting like 2.6% interest on it. Pathetic.

Bingo!

ZIRP is murdering savers and the elderly. All to serve the banks.

Progs are just emotionally confused and intellectually dishonest. Here we have G5000 for example, who chooses to ignore the fact Trump is paying on Bush/Obama debt as well as trying to budget our government. He also ignored my other points, because he knows I'm right and can't defend prog-narrative.

G5000 criticizes Trump's budget deficit because "the economy is supposedly great". The guy is just too ignorant to recognize Obama's final budget happened to be his largest deficit. These are the same people who suggest Obama set the economic table for Trump. Matter of fact, the deficits created by Obama's last three budgets far and away exceed any three years past.

Here's some fun:

Obama's average debt: $1,042,125,000,000.00 (trillion) per year:

Obama's average debt last three years: $1,385,666,666,666.67 (trillion) per year

Trump's average debt: $1,265,500,000,000.00 (trillion) per year. That's with paying interest on Obama/Bush debt and a higher GDP

SOMEONE GIVE ME A LIKE!........PROGS ARE JUST EASY TARGETS, THEY ONLY NEED OPEN THEIR MOUTHS. EVEN WHEN PUT IN THEIR PLACE THEY YACK YACK YACK YACK YACK.

Trump doubled the deficit in two years. That's a fact.

Obama decreased the deficit over his tenure. Trump has accelerated it. That's a fact.

Trump is well on his way toward busting Obama's debt record wide open.

To claim the debt has slowed, as you did, is to be stupendously stupid.

Trump proudly called himself "The King of Debt".

That is about the only claim Trump has ever made about himself that has turned out be honest and true.

Ah. If you eat out at McDonald's you are a slothful person!

Here is Republican advice

Finding a roommate to split your rent

Airbnb your home

Say Goodbye to Your Ride

Don't eat out

Ask your landlord, utilities provider, insurance carrier and credit card issuer for lower monthly charges and rates on all the incidentals.

Every major city has free things to do.

Republicans aren't talking about putting more money in your pocket. They're telling you to stop spending. Then they'll cry that consumer confidence and spending is down.

What You Buy Every Day Drives U.S. Economic Growth

The only reason Trump is doing well now is because people are spending.

Republicans you can't have it both ways. You can't tell everyone to stop spending so much when you want them spending. So the truth is people aren't making enough to keep Trump's economy strong and save. Pick one dumb asses.

$4.7 trillion. That's Trump's FY2019 ask.

A full trillion dollars more than Obama ever spent in a fiscal year.

That's a fact.

$4.7 trillion is the largest budget in the history of the Universe. No one since the Big Bang has spent that much.

This is why I laugh my ass off whenever some retard claims the GOP is the party of small government and low debt.
