This just makes me shickled tit-less to know that I am on the downhill side of life... While I do have Grandkids and I absolutely hate some of the social engineering taking place in todays world, I will leave catastrophes like mentioned in this link to younger minds than mine...

The Numbers Are In – Planned Parenthood Performed Record Number of Abortions in 2018

Last year was a record year for Planned Parenthood in terms of the number of abortions the organization performed.

Planned Parenthood released its latest annual report for the 2017-2018 fiscal year over the weekend. The report reveals that the organization performed more abortions in 2018 than in any year since 2011.

That's 332,757 abortions in 2018 alone.

In fact, Planned Parenthood performed approximately 11,000 more abortions last year than in 2017.

Odd ... I wonder if the OP remembers he has a Freewheelin' Franklin quote in his signature ...

Do you remember the episode when he and his two brothers bought 160 acres up in the Sierra foothills? ... and how they got those 14-year-old girls hooked on drugs up there ... remember how detailed and graphic all the rape scenes were? ... those comics are still illegal under child pornography laws, always have been ...ETA: That was 160 vertical acres, now do you remember? ...

You're glorifying thirty-somethings having sex with little girls ... but you're against these little girls getting abortions when they get pregnant ... what would Fat Freddie's Cat say about you? ... what would Mr Natural say? ...

You know, considering the age that kids become sexually active nowadays, I have zero problem with condoms in libraries. Not only can they help prevent pregnancy, but they can also help prevent diseases.

Besides......................I'm used to it. Every time we pulled into a foreign port, there was always a large bowl of condoms, free for the taking, right outside medical. And, that was pretty much every ship that I served on. Sorry, but I think this is a good preventative measure.

Kids are more likely to use condoms that they can get for free and without drawing lots of attention to themselves like they would encounter in a drug store.

I say promote abstinence in schools ! Contraception is a subject for parents to discuss with their children.

No I don't... Can you provide a valid link?

those comics are still illegal under child pornography laws, always have been ...

Don't have a clue about child pornography laws... Again can you provide a link validating your claim...

ETA: That was 160 vertical acres, now do you remember? ...

No

You're glorifying thirty-somethings having sex with little girls ...

The Freak Brothers are counter-culture cartoon characters... Hard to glorify...

but you're against these little girls getting abortions when they get pregnant ...

Again this is cartoon characters you are speaking of... :lmao:

what would Fat Freddie's Cat say about you? ... what would Mr Natural say? ...

Again cartoon characters... While I have caught you spinning in this fantasy land can I interest you in a new umbrella? All those ReinyDays you are experiencing has caused black mold on your brain...

A link to child pornography sites? ... no, don't have any, never thought to look ... I just think it's funny you've never read The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers comics ... I came across these guys roaming the back alley book stores across the bay in Berkeley ... '73 or '74 ...

The Freak Brothers are counter-culture cartoon characters... Hard to glorify...

Well, you are glorifying them ... and you glorify a counter-culture that brought the need for free available abortion services ... free food, free rent, free sex ... don't you remember all the people humping on the Panhandle in broad daylight? ... back when "taking the girlfriend to TJ" wasn't a euphemism ...

Living like a gypsy queen in a fairy tale
Well, I hear the whistle but I can't go, I'm gonna
Take her down to Mexico, she said oh no
Guadalajara won't do

Clueless aren't you ... plenty of folk back then just like Mr Natural ... about every street corner in that neighborhood ... Charles Manson was just the tip of the iceberg ...

No ... you're against abortion because you think 14- or 15-year old girls are only good for one thing ... might as well start them early ... the twenty-something fathers of these unwanted children are blameless, unnamed, and you don't want these fathers to have to pay child support ... in that, both Republicans and Democrats agree ... lucky you ...

Hmmm Los Angeles schools... That means mostly black and latino students.

Planned Parenthood sounds reasonable.

:21: And you call me clueless... You're assumption on why I am against abortion the majority of the time is ludicrous...

I need to apologize to you as I blamed 'black mold' on your brain malady, when it seems you have bathed in California Sunshine ( Bear Owsley's recipe) one to many times... For this I apologize...

Don't you think that encouraging kids to "explore their sexuality" promotes sexual activity?

A bowl of condoms sitting in a library really isn't promoting sexuality. Yes, condoms are used when having sex, but telling kids not to have sex doesn't really work that well. This is simply a place where kids can get them if they need them, and not have to jump through hoops like they would if they went to a store.

Now, if there was signage next to the bowl of condoms saying "have sex now", then I might consider it "promotion". But, there isn't any telling the kids to have sex, so I don't consider it promotion, I consider it providing a need and leaving the choice to the kids, kinda like what the Navy did when they left out bowls outside Medical when we pulled into foreign ports.

"A bowl of condoms sitting in a library really isn't promoting sexuality."

And a decorated evergreen tree in a Courthouse in December isn't promoting Christianity...

Actually, on that I kinda agree. Christmas trees are descended from the Yule Log, which was originally a pagan custom. So yeah, I can agree that a Christmas tree by itself isn't really promoting Christianity, as I look at it as more of a secular representation of the holiday.

Manger displays on the other hand........................

I think we can agree that the intended recipients of the condoms are juveniles... I have an issue with a Government funded institution passing out prophylactics to underage children... You mentioned the Navy passing them out and I have no issue with that... But a couple 13 years old's going to the library to score on some 'rubbers' is not a wise use of tax dollars imo...

Well they need to past this out to the kids, Maybe add some into their brownies or soda pop. Or just feed them foods that has been raised with nitrate or added to the foods

So then you support Planned Parenthood's "... 332,757 abortions in 2018 alone." ... go ahead and say this is a benefit to society in general ... that it's a good thing to give 13-year-olds easy and free access to condoms ... say in high school libraries ...

California Sunshine in San Francisco? ... what are you smoking? ... the only time the sun shone was when the wind was howling, otherwise it was always foggy, always ... my mother claims between 1951 and 1974, she wasn't never warm living in there; always chilly and damp, or the wind was howling ... " The coldest winter I ever spent was summer in San Francisco" -- Mark Twain ... Up here in Jefferson, Eureka just set an all-time record high temperature for June of a blistering 85ºF ... California Sunshine my ass ...

Nope ... just microdot, jujubee, windowpane, a wide variety of blotter, sugarcube, clear and I've even seen acid on birth control pills ... that was a hoot ...

Please try and carry on a conversation ... do you approve of Planned Parenthood's efforts to keep young high school children from starting families too soon, including abortions? ... or is it just the girls who miss school so you don't care? ...

No, I do not approve PP speaking to underage children... That is the parents responsibility... The same goes for tax funded schools... Not their job...
