I've always felt that first year poll numbers were about useless anyways. Every president starts their term with public enthusiasm. That's why they won the election. You have to be one shitty president to lose that in your first year.

Rasmussen is a poll. They simply ask questions to see what the average approvals are. They don't ask questions designed to tilt their polls to get a specific result like Gallup.
