    The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 26% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13 (see trends).

    For the first time in ten months, the number who Strongly Disapprove of the president has remained below the 40% level for four straight days.

    Just 23% believe the country is generally heading in the right direction. A commentary by Howard Rich highlights the “successful revolt against a $1.2 trillion omnibus spending bill” in the Senate last week. It has been said that mindless growth is the ideology of the cancer cell. Now that America has been ‘fiscally diagnosed,’ let’s hope a new crop of leaders has the courage to pursue a cure – not merely treat the symptoms of the disease.” :clap2: :clap2:
