Rand Paul: Trump Won ‘Big Victory’ with Border Wall Deal

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) called the border wall proposal hammered out by congressional negotiators a “big victory” for President Trump in an interview with Sirius XM’s Breitbart News Daily Wednesday morning.

“I think in the end, Trump won a big victory here, because everybody else had folded,” he said in the interview with host and Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow.

“At Christma stime, everybody else was folding, and just saying, ‘Oh the Democrats gained control of the House, this is the best that we’ll ever do.’ So he got $1.375 billion for border security that wasn’t in there before,” he said.

Trump makes it clear that the existing border fence styles are NOT what he wants, but rather a wall. BIG DIFFERENCE. Concrete and Rebar.

Trump then immediately asks for 22-25 million for his wall after completely dropping his repatriation plan for making Mexico pay directly without even trying it once he realized the American Taxpayer can.

Trump has companies build a dozen prototypes of the wall he says he will use going forward

Trump then cuts that to 4.7 billion saying not a penny less for his wall.

Trump now is reportedly getting 1.3 billion to build existing styles of fencing like the Obama era Bollard steel slat fence that Democrats have long been approving and building and thinks just renaming Obama's "bollard steel slat fence" into Trumps "bollard steel slat wall" is all he needs?

Does Rand Paul think Americans are brain dead morons who can watch someone shit in their hands and convince each other they are eating chocolate pudding? That a legacy of getting less money for border fencing than Obama (Bush and Obama both spent about 2 billion a year securing that border) is a win? That continuing a slower pace of fence building than Obama, using Obama approved designs and not trumps for fencing is a win?

Apparently the brain dead here doesn't understand that now the Congress has given him money for the wall/fence and the precedent has now been started where they can no long PIGLOSI it with "NOT ONE DOLLAR FOR A WALL" that had been her steadfast position up until now. She has opened the door and GAVE IN....THAT is all that is needed when he acquires billions of dollars from other projects. And needs more perhaps from Congress to finish the job....ABNORMALS NEVER look at the future, always one dimension thinking!
