Well, it seems that after the nuclear mess at Fukishima, now some of that radioactive stuff has finally made it to California, and now the wines they are bottling are slightly radioactive. Saw this on the news yesterday, and it was kinda freaky.

No, there isn't enough in the wine to make it glow in the dark, or even be dangerous to you if you drink it, but there IS enough to be detected.

Are these wineries bottling their wine with seawater?

No, but the radioactive material has made it into the grapes however.

How so? If I recall, the reactor breach for the Fukushima reactor did not vent to atmosphere, but only to the ocean.

The radioactive water makes it to our shores (it has), and then evaporation of said water makes rain, which is soaked up by the grapes.

Not exactly how radiation works. Most isotopes won't go airborne from nominal evaporation. In fact, the particulate from most isotopes would remain suspended in solution with the exception of the really heavy elements.
