I've never been too interested in politics up 'till now, but a video made me wondering:
people were utterly disappointed of Obama and his archievements in the last years, which is kinda ironic considering how much he got hyped during his election in '09.
That raised some questions and I am now trying to get more knowledgable regarding all this, since I only knew "hyped information" from overseas (I'm not an US citizen :/).
What election pledges/promises (how you'd call it?) did he make during his candidateship?
-> Where can I read them up / is there some particular speech where he explicitly expresses them?
How's the current situation regarding these promises?
-> Which did he fulfil / break or are still in progress?
--> Where is that sudden disbelief and disapproval coming from?
I'd really appreciate your help shedding some light on that topic!
