I routinely hear the anti-abortion crowd say they are opposed to abortion because the fetus is human life and it should be protected.

Does this extend to the moment of conception? If so, wouldnt' that mean you'd have to make birth control pills illegal? A birth control pill, if taken by a woman (property of the U.S. Government) after conception but before implantation, can cause the embryo to abort by preventing it from attaching to the uterine wall (property of the U.S. Government)

Wouldn't it also mean that a woman who went out for a night of hard drinking that resulted in the pregnancy terminating would be - at least - guilty of negligent homicide even if she didn't know she was pregnant? Wouldn't it mean that if she knew she was pregnant she'd be guilty of manslaughter or worse?

Shithead, some people oppose The Pill because they believe it might prevent implantation. But, that's now how the Pill Works. The primary mechanism is preventing ovulation in the first place. The secondary mechanism is to prevent sperm from penetrating the cervix.

They also can prevent implantation.
Finally, birth control pills help to make the lining of the uterus less receptive to implantation.

How Birth Control Pills Prevent Pregnancy

So they'd have to be illegal under the Republican New World Order.

Question about this Harpy's logic here. One bumper sticker proclaims she's voting for kids, another proclaims her support for Obama, but that's essentially the same as supporting matter and anti matter, it being impossible for the two to occupy the same space at the same time.

For you see Obama is all for abortion and contraception, two things that are detrimental to a kid's well being. But there may be more motivating Obama's beliefs here than simply bestowing on his constituents the right to experience unlimited pleasure without having to suffer any consequences. Its all about national birth rates. England's birth rate is down and as a consequence they have had to allow the importation of strangers, people who have little to no knowledge of Englands history, customs, culture. beliefs and care even less. As a result the city of London has recently declared sections of its territory to be under Sharia Law rather than English Law, and it is often derisively referred to as Londonistan rather than London.
The birthrate in France is down as well, and its certainly not because the French are fornicating less, its only because they are suffering the consequences of their prolific fornication rate less. They too, have had to import foreigners who have little to no knowledge of French history, customs, laws and traditions and care even less about them. But it was here that the native French, mostly Roman Catholic Christian population may have suffered the first consequences of their falling birth rate in the recent election that pitted Mssr Holland against Mssr Sarkozy, in that Mssr Holland appealed for the votes of France's 500,000 person resident Turks by promising them to make France Turkey's first European Colony, disregarding any concerns of the native French population about their heritage.
Is that Barack Obama's modus operandi behind the contraception mandate? Using the contraception mandate to further his goal of 'Fundamentally Transforming America" by supplanting the population derived from its original English and Northern European colonial stock by reason of its plummeting birth rate with other immigrant groups who know nothing of America's history, laws, traditions, and customs and care even less, who would also be exquisitely attentive to Obama's wants, desires and supplications?

Wow.

You're a fucking moron, what else can be said?

Guess what? I think if it isn't your womb, its not your fucking business. If you think that means I dislike children, you're stupid.

If someone wants to take birth control pills it is none of my business. When they want me to pay for their birth control pills, it becomes my business.

i dont care who takes what pill. Thats between them, their spouse, and God. They are grown ups. They can make their own decision in regards to what they put in theiir body.

What they can't do is terminate a new and unique life created due to what they put in their body.

Yes they can and it is legal to do so.

You've made your point, badly. The anti abortion crowd loves to play the emotional card yet few speak out in support of providing prenatal care when the young women cannot afford it herself. Most never speak of the father's duty or on the issue of domestic abuse or entrapment. And never do they speak of age appropriate sexual education, rather most support abstinence only - as big a failure as Nancy Reagan's "Just say NO" campaign.

Notice the issue of abortion never came up when the Republicans had the White House and controlled both the Senate and the House. Abortion only becomes a great issue in election years, when Republicans and Conservatives need an issue. This year is no different, Guns, Gays, God & Abortion with taxes tossed in as always.

Lincoln said it best. You can fool some of the people all of the time, and the Republicans do over and over and over again; and, the fools never figure out they are being manipulated.

No matter who wins in November, you will still have your guns, abortion will still be legal and taxes will still be due. Bigots will still support restricting the rights of other Americans and Fox News and MSNBC will broadcast the next scandal, only to move on to new ones, some manufactured by the media, each week.

They also can prevent implantation.

Do you have a link to show that BC works by preventing implantation? I don't mean a link of someone saying it does, but a link showing that shows this is demonstrated mechanism, and if so, to what degree.
