I guarantee the color of that ship is rust right now.

All Russian ships are rust-colored. They don't sandblast and paint a damn thing.

They just let them flake rust until they're done.

The whole of the US aircraft carrier fleet (12) could be taken out by Russian Hyper Sonic missiles in a day .

The US public has no idea what a mess their military is in .

Putin wants a lot of things...doesn't mean he gets them.

i´d like to see 🇷🇺Kuzya and another one in the Black Sea (lake ). Ukraine will use it for target practice. :auiqs.jpg:

Theoretically the Kuznetsov is just about done its refit.Where they'll find a new crew, with the manpower needs in Ukraine, is anyone's guess.

Putin is running short of ships in the black sea.
Ukraine, which has no navy, seems to keep destroying the Russian warships and freight carriers on a regular basis.

The only thing left for munitions, soldiers and supplies is a new railway line the Russians had to build. (Roads are toast already)
And this rail line is watched and targeted regularly.

Where Russia recently gained Andiivka they are getting stretched extremely thin in spots. And the waterways they are encroaching upon are death traps for them.

Anyone thinking that war is easy for Russia is completely mistaken. War is hard.

They could hire a Chinese crew.
THERE is the only one "Unequal Treaty" Which remains in force today, Which one ? and What does it mean for Moscow ?)
Outer Manchuria, refers to a region of Moscow empire [1] in Northeast Asia that historically formed part of Manchuria, and now constitutes the southern part of the Russian Far East. Manchuria, which more normatively refers to Northeast China, originally included areas in present-day Moscow Manchuria. Control of areas within the region was ceded to the Moscow Empire by the Qing China during the Amur Annexation in the 1858 Treaty of Aigun and 1860 Treaty of Peking,[4] with the term 'Moscow Manchuria' arising after the Moscow annexation.

China has ALREADY declared part of Moscow empire as its territory on new official maps China's state-owned Standard Map Service has presented a set of geographic maps for 2023, on which for the first time part of Moscow's territory is indicated as part of China. It is about the Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island on the Amur River.

It was Sergey Karginov's proposal, who is the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Far East and the Arctic. This appeal was addressed to the director of the Department of Asian and Pacific Cooperation of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexei Ovchinnikov. The war in Ukraine does not require another aircraft carrier from the Soviet era. It's not like the attack on Pearl Harbor that required to transport 353 Imperial Japanese aircraft all the way to Hawaii. Russia has an air base located just about 60 kilometers from Luhansk in the Donbas region.

On January 5, a leader of the Russian Liberal Democratic Party, Sergey Karginov suggested that the Russian government buy back the Soviet aircraft carrier that Ukraine had previously sold to China, RIA Novosti reported.

The Liberal Democratic Party is a right-wing, ultranationalist party that supports the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Karginov told the media: “The unfinished aircraft carrier Varyag was handed over to Ukraine and then sold to China to convert it into a casino. After China received the ship, it completed its construction and renamed it the Liaoning ship. The ship was originally supposed to become one of the main ships of the USSR.”

Karginov made a very blunt suggestion saying, “After the collapse of the USSR, Ukraine preferred to sell it, in fact, for a price of a few bottles of vodka or price of scrap metal. Given the current situation, I propose that Russia buy this aircraft carrier from China, in the name of Zhirinovsky, the founder of the Liberal Democratic Party, and make it the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet.”

Then again, Russias Navy has been chased out of the Black Sea because they have no defense against drones
In you dreams, if that was the case Nato would be all over the black sea just off the coast of Russia, also aircraft carriers like those massive US ones are obsolete these days, ok for putting the frighteners on small weak Countries that can't fight back but against a strong military power they would be floating coffins.
