Have screwed things up on my 14+ year old computer enough times I've become very good at figuring out fixes. So I'll share some of my wisdom for the new format here.
At first I couldn't use it at all. Only place I could type anything was on my profile page. A night's slumber and a refreshed mind though, logging on this morning fully intending to delete my unusable account I got to looking through the menus including most importantly, Preferences.
If you can't repy to posts or write a thing in the new 'Rich Text Format' boxes, be sure you uncheck 'Use Rich-Text Format' under Prefs. There's a'Use Flash...' right under it and ya might wanna deselect it as well. Doing these two simple things enabled my posting.
Still had script errors every page, and a page took over 30s to load so I tried disabling all scripts. Page loads now take less than about 10s and no more script errors AND I can still post.
