For anyone who has seen the movie Casablanca (if you haven't seen it I highly recommend it, maybe the greatest movie of all time), the media response is similar, you can guess who the media is:

"I am shocked, shocked! To find out gambling is going on in here!
Casino Worker: "Your winnings sir"
"Oh, thank you very much"

Press coverage of Trump in first month of office: 88 percent ‘hostile,’ says new study

There was no press honeymoon for President Trump during his first month in office. A meticulous new study by the Media Research Center finds that 88 percent of the broadcast news coverage of Mr. Trump and his team was “hostile” during the first 30 days of office.

The coverage was intense and plentiful. The study, which analyzed both tone and content for evening newscasts on ABC, NBC and CBS, found that the “Big Three” networks produced 16 hours of coverage on the new president and his staff. That is over half — 54 percent — of their total coverage for the month.

“Our measure of media tone excludes soundbites from identified partisans, focusing instead on tallying the evaluative statements made by reporters and the nonpartisan talking heads (experts and average citizens) included in their stories,” write Rich Noyes, research director for the conservative press watchdog, and fellow analyst Mike Ciandella.

“In their coverage of Trump’s first month, the networks crowded their stories with quotes from citizens angry about many of his policies, while providing relatively little airtime to Trump supporters.” the pair noted. “And the networks’ anchors and reporters often injected their own anti-Trump editorial tone into the coverage. ‘It has been a busy day for presidential statements divorced from reality,’ CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley snidely began his February 6 broadcast.

“A new American president is always a big story, but TV news is obsessed with the Trump administration — and not in a good way,” they observed.

Poor Tricky Trumpy

Having the press just kick him around for no reason.

After he was so nice to them and all........

the proof is in the pudding. Read USA today's headlines and accompanying articles perfect examples of a jaded perspective. Too bad Lynch didn't recuse herself after meeting Billy Bob, answering the questions posed by congress truthfully. Sessions responded to the direct questions presented during his hearing and yet the author twists the fact and ignores the fact that he was conducting business as a Senator. Then there is the issue of unsecured email correspondence, Pence was a Governor, the Hag was Secretary of State. One was governed by federal security protocol protecting national security the other, well, not even in the same game.

Trump has to act like a President who cares for all of the people and the country's welfare.

He does not.

There is hostile and then their is covering the truth. How can anyone trust that they are getting the complete truth when most of the media spends it's time on republican scandals yet refuses to cover any of the other party's scandal when they occur. I'm not saying that the scandals that hit republican presidents are made up because a lot of them are quite true but I wonder how many scandals are simply not being reported when they occur on the democratic side. How can the American people ever know that they are getting the complete picture when this is occurring?

I feel my first amendment rights have been violated because of all the fake news instead of the truth. I demand a warrant on all journalists for all the fake news rather than doing their first amendment jobs.

We don't really need a study to know how hostile and biased the media is towards Republicans and Trump in particular they threw away any pretense of being fair and objective long ago.

No they didn't. The press give him a hard time because he's a deplorable douche. It's not their fault he's a fuckwit..

Write a letter to The Orange Buffoon and his proxy Bannon and tell them to stop spreading Fake News. They'll probably tell you to piss off. They tend to do that when people give them sound advice.
