I've been around for a long time and even with the incompetence and juvenile behavior of "W" and his admin., nothing in the last 50 years has been this pathetic! We can rope in Nixon and Watergate and you can't find a more delusional group trying to run things in DC! They have a base that will stick with them through thick and thin (lies & half-truths)! They own both sides of Congress, have a swath of red across the country with Republican Gov's and State Houses, but they haven't been able to accomplish a thing! It's been truly a horrific start; only rivaled by a President that talked himself to death at his own Inaugural! The only thing more comical is the finger-pointing; actually thinking Dems have an obligation of some sort to try and trash legislation they passed just 7 years ago! Republicans have sure-fire success in ripping off a SC Nom., but with all the Russian intrigue, the news is swirling about as if Monica's "dress" was found and sent down for DNA testing! Reps would love that, but here they are actually "poo-pooing" live investigations by the FBI of Russian involvement in our election process & possible collusion between Trump, his surrogates, & Putin!

I blame the greedy government officials and elected politicians in Germany, they are the ones who control how their country spends their money on domestic and military issues. It's shameful that they aren't even competent enough to figure out a way to smoothly pony up at least 2% of their GDP earnings on defense funding, when we in the United States are paying nearly twice our required amount.

Trump wasn't the first one to criticize Germany for falling short on its NATO dues, Barack Obama did it too.
