He is a child, I'm sure not unlike yourself. HE IS A CHILD. This isn't how you teach a child that racism is wrong. Hell, I think she justified his feelings of hate. In a class where he is a minority he is beaten up with the approval of the teacher - it's almost a perfect metaphor for what is happening in this country.
