The veteran interviewer Tim Russert was asking his last question of Powell, who was joining him via satellite from Jordan, when the camera suddenly swung away and viewers heard the voice of a State Department media minder off camera declare: "You're off."

The argument that ensued between Powell, the press aide and Russert was rebroadcast in its entirety and was more revealing of this administration's can-do-no-wrong attitude than any public campaign exchange.</blockquote>

Seeing this episode is much like seeing "The Portrait of Dorian Gray", wherein the painting reveals the true, hideous nature of its subject. This incident showed the rot at the core of Dubbyuh's adminstration.

This has been discussed already and Tim Russert clearly expaling what happened. Once again, you try to create controversy where there is none.

He had gone over this time limit by nearly five minutes and Powell was already 45 minutes late for a meeting with foreign dignitaries.

You are laughable.

Wow. You're really reaching B.

Did you even see it? 17 minutes into a 10 minute interview Sec. Powell showed up late to, while Russert was in the process of asking another question, one of Powell's aides declared the interview over and panned the camera away from the Secretary. Sec. Powell told her to get out of the way, had the camera centered back on him, and answered the question.

Oooooooooooooooo, look at the rot at the core. Eew.
