Gavin Newsom lied about the US being only one of two nations on earth that require people to put up money for bail and Politifact, as they always do, backed up Newsom's lie with lies of their own.
It's what they do. They exist to give leftists slickly packaged rationals and misstatements of fact so they can go out and spread around the disinformation. too.
That is quintessential liberalism. Lairs lying and helping other liars lie too. It's how democrats get their policies passed.
Gavin Newsom and Bernie Sanders are right now trying to do away with bail through slick lies and Politifact is right there with them supporting them all the way.
