For all of you that love to discuss and debate politics, here's a few points to keep in mind while rattling swords:
(1) Legislation is a commodity bought and sold on the floors of Congress.
(2) The U.S. Government is an entity unto itself, answerable to no one except itself.
(3) Politics is fueled by greed, self-service, egos, the thirst and hunger for power, and climbing the political ladder at all cost.
(4) To the government, citizens are merely a source for taxes and votes, and nothing else, period.
(5) Washington politics is corrupt, anti-America, and self-serving.
