With everything going on one would think they would be taking more precautions and realizing that some crimes are not worth the violence they commit to address him.

Even the person they were after was only wanted for breaking into some cars. There is no need for this.

This is going to cost taxpayers a ton of money and hopefully the officers their jobs.

People make mistakes, including the police from time to time. Maybe the police officer has dyslexia, or was relying on his faulty memory in exercising the warrant. BTW, stealing and breaking into cars is a serious offense. Of course the police should be serious about investigating the crime.

Naked women were involved. . .

I'm with Gramps.

The lady would have opened the door. It was an apt. There is no escaping. There was no justification for busting the door down.

If you read the link, the address from police records was outdated. And I would be upset if police decide on their own to pick what warrants they honor or won't honor.

The police should have had someone come out and put in a new door no cost to her. An apology is in order as well.

Lucky nobody got wounded let alone killed. Gotta get this marxism violence/civil disobedience under control & out of country before even more Americans become injured or killed.

Reading the article helps you not speculate. They used outdated sources for their address.

One would think that with what is going on that the police would be a little more careful with warrants. One would think with what is going on they would be a little more respectful upon entering the apartment and finding what they did.

Unless someone had saw the suspect at this address a warrant never should have been issued.

Since the last time it happened, how many correct dwellings have been broken into without error?

99.999999% would you say that is an accurate figure?

"ONLY" wanted for breaking into some cars? What should the police do to protect us?

The criminal knows they are wanted by the police, chose to run, and are now hiding to avoid capture. What should they do? Ring the doorbell and quietly request that the felon come outside so they can be arrested and put in jail?

We have seen too many innocent people hurt and or killed in these kinds of actions. They should not be used for things like breaking into cars.

How about actually put out the effort to make sure they have the right place? On top of that, yes, ring the doorbell in a case like this. It's an apartment. With a few well placed officers there is nowhere for someone to run.

In your opinion, and you are making that judgment without the benefit of the facts.
