Not sure what Merkel thinks is getting out of the deal. Germany could go down in history as the largest country in Europe to protect and breed terrorists.

Merkel is of the philosophical club that feels the Germans of today should pay for the sins of Nazi Germany, just like the Democrats here feel that all Americans should be punished for the slavery they themselves practiced, and continue to endorse.

Here's the thing: Most Germans living today had nothing to do with Nazi Germany, anymore than ANY Americans living today had ANYTHING to do with black slavery.
