Piracy involves adventurous burglary either on the high seas or on modern networks/media.

This is a capitalism-based mock-trial regarding the 'metaphysics' of piracy and legalese critique (inspired by the modern film American Made).

Cheers,

====

LAWYER: You're accused of multiple cases of piracy!
DEFENDANT: I'm merely a 'speculator.'

LAWYER: You can't use risk as a justification for terror.
DEFENDANT: Re-appropriation is not terrorism...

LAWYER: Capitalism is about risk; you're not a 'scholar.'
DEFENDANT: I'm not a scholar, but I'm certainly a critic!

LAWYER: Imagine if we condoned vigilantes and charlatans!
DEFENDANT: What's wrong with 'political experimentation'?

LAWYER: Governance is not an 'experiment.'
DEFENDANT: Contracts are anything but 'fool-proof.'

LAWYER: You can't treat consumers as witnesses.
DEFENDANT: Consumerism has become mindless...

LAWYER: Legalese sarcasm is dangerous...
DEFENDANT: What about Las Vegas?

LAWYER: Vegas is monitored and federally controlled!
DEFENDANT: What about Bonnie and Clyde?

LAWYER: Romanticizing bank-robbery is simply poetry (not law).
DEFENDANT: We'll see how Trump handles Samsung and South Korea.
