This is unexpecting. Rick Perry who announced his presidency the other day has got a problem all of the sudden. Civilian Sarah Palin has come out of nowhere and tied with Perry in a new poll. She is also way ahead of Bachmann. How is this happening and she hasn't even announced. Is the attacks on Perry working already? With the GOP coming out against him today as well as tonight for his comments about Fed Chairman Bernanke committing treason, I believe he may not be ready for prime time.

Here are the results:
Public Policy Polling: Perry tied in NC, CO

Palin 17%
Perry 17%
Romney 17%
Cain 11%
Gingrich 10%
Bachmann 9%
Paul 7%
Huntsman 1%

Bachmann has lost 47% of her support in North Carolina in just a couple of weeks.

She didn't ever have it really. She simply had people that were settling on her because other people were not an option to vote for yet.

USAR has SPS (Sarah Palin Syndrome)

or SPF (Sarah Palin Fetish)

I KNEW she wasn't past-tense. If Palin decides to run, she'll win the nomination.

Please send Sarah Palin back to nowhere.
It's not going to happen. Your man Perry is taking a beating tonight from Republicans in the media. They are very displeased with his comments.

Rick Perry's only been in the Presidential race for two days but based on our most recent round of state polling he's already close to deserving co-front runner status. We found him tied for the lead last week among Republican voters in both Colorado and North Carolina, two very different states and also two that are a long way from Texas.

In North Carolina Perry's in a three way tie with Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin. Each is getting 17%. Herman Cain at 11% and Newt Gingrich at 10% round out the candidates in double digits and Michele Bachmann at 9%, Ron Paul at 7%, Tim Pawlenty at 2% (the poll was conducted before he dropped out), and Jon Huntsman at 1% represent the rest of the field.

Perry also led a PPP poll conducted in Virginia two weeks ago. It's clear he's going to be an extremely formidable candidate in the South and I'd expect that the next time we poll South Carolina he's either going to be in the lead or awfully close to it.

The moral of the story is Perry, a virtual unknown, in two days has ALREADY tied with the well known presumed frontrunner who ran in 2008 and the 2008 GOP VP candidate.

Not true. Palin is undeclared and he can't even pull ahead of her.

And while you blah blah blah about Palin and Perry, Romney who is also at 17% has a clear field.

Perry hasn't even shifted into second gear yet. Palin has been at it for years. In time, people will completely forget about Palin. Perry will eclipse the ditsy broad.

Mark my words... Perry is the next President, period, end of story.
