    Thanks Bonnie. Must be the historian in me, but I put more weight on those involved, like rcajun, than Reuters. Whether it be Katrina or Iraq, (see the interviews with military posted on another thread.)

    O'Reilly just had a segment on his show regarding how the media in Europe is gloating over Katrina. I got so angry I had to leave the room. Does anyone remember how thousands of people in France died during that heatwave a few years back??? The next time my darling cousin says she's embarrased to travel overseas becasue of what they think of us Im going to slap her, and I love her, but I will slap her :slap:

    National Public Radio was recording at the Austin Convention Center today. I can't wait to hear it all after it's edited and aired.
