Then why aren't democrats moving heaven and earth to fix it? IOW, if something's wrong and they have the power to fix it, they're liable for letting it continue.

How would you have Congress fix it? They have passed funding.

How much for a wall to reduce the pressure of more illegal entry into the country? What pressure are they willing to put on states and cities that ignore federal immigration law? IOW, how willing are they to actually do things that would make it easier to take care of those in custody? You have to look at the whole picture, not just the narrow little slice the hate merchants want you to look at. There is something very suspicious and confusing about this article. Before Congress went on their Independence week break, they did provide the money for improvement at the last minute. Granted, it takes time for that money to be spent to buy things, but the money will be making improvements shortly.

The reason Democrats don't want a wall is because walls and fences work everyplace they are tried, even in this country.

Liberals can change immigration policy once they are in charge, but a wall is something they won't be able to change. That's why they are fighting so hard against it.
