We already pay in higher private HC premiums, co-payments, deductions, higher medical services, hospital, doctor and lab fees. Those that have private HC have to take the plan their employers chose and doctors and hospitals they chose. You have no choice in anything when you have private HC. Private HC makes all choices for you, plus we are paying for those who use the HC system and cannot or will not pay like illegal aliens.
Pay a little more in taxes for government HC now and make improvements as improvements are needed. Improvements in private HC is not improved as improvements are needed. It would cost to much and profits would be less. Pay a little more and bring down the cost of medical care for all. We even pay more for government HC now like Medicare, Medicaid and veterans medical care.
People are afraid and oppose that which they don’t understand. They do not understand how HC can cover all and cost less than what they are paying now. We claim to be a democracy but we do not practice democracy. True democracy is not a dog eat dog system.
47 million people without HC is rationing HC. “Hand off my HC” is radical irrational right wing raving rhetoric. Obama will not take your private HC away but will make it more affordable for you and provide HC for those who don’t have HC.
Where are the voices of those 47 million who do not have HC? Oh, they are at town hall meetings. They just don’t want HC handed to them by a black hand. Period.

I think your post is quite humorous. For starters, who dreamed up this 47 million number for people that don't have health care? That's all crap. If you knock the illegal aliens and people who choose not to have health care that number will be considerably less. The rest of that number is questionable also. There are probably not more than 13 million peole without health care coverage in this country. So what? Life is not always fair. Pay a little more in taxes to lower the cost of health care? Please. The government can't even run Medicare and Social Security and that's a smaller number of people they will have to be concerned with if this government health care thing gets started. They also can't run a program as simple as Cash for Clunkers. I don't want the government having anything to do with my health care. The constitution does not allow for the government to operate a health insurance company. As far as not wanting it because a black man is the one pushing this nonsense is pure bullshit in it's truest racist form. Problem is, a little more always, always, always turns into alot more taxes. I will tell you what, if you want to contribute to a nationalized health care plan I will gladly let you pay for me. Now how's that for a deal.
