ATLANTA (AP) — Parts of a report by a special grand jury that investigated whether then-President Donald Trump and his allies committed any crimes while trying to overturn his 2020 election loss in Georgia have been made public.

The report’s introduction and conclusion, along with a section in which the grand jurors expressed concerns that some witnesses may have lied under oath were released Thursday. But any recommendations on potential criminal charges will remain under wraps for now.

The partial release was ordered Monday by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney, who oversaw the special grand jury. During a hearing last month, prosecutors urged him not to release the report until they decide on charges, while a coalition of media organizations, including The Associated Press, pushed for the entire report to be made public immediately.

Giuliani and Mark Meadows and Michael Flynn all testified before that grand jury. They might be sweating today.

We could see yet another attorney getting fucked for helping Trump.

If it was under oath you have to assume it was truth.
Unless you have something to the contrary, where obviously they didn't. :eusa_whistle:
Huh..you get 'obviously' out of that do you?
Now, I think, that if the jury recommended further legal action, that 'obviously' was a part of their thought process..or at least credible was.
Somehow, I just don't think that a Grand Jury would have made such allegations out of whole cloth.

Of course, you do~

The grand jury is asking the DA for charges against some witnesses.

I never understood why Georgia election officials would accept such a phone call.

To allow one candidate in an election access to election officials without the other candidate present gives the appearance of partisan influence …..especially from a sitting apresident

The grand jury found that several people lied under oath and recommended indictment. The suspects were not named but may have been named in the part of the report that was not released. If the witnesses were for Trump indictments should be swift. If they lied testifying against Trump you will never hear about this again. Chinese loyalist to the democratic party will hand on saying that Republicans are terrified that these charges are hanging over them. In reality, it will be buried and ignored.

That's not all that was found by this grand jury. They also determined there was no widespread election fraud in Georgia. Rightarded claims of multiple ballots being scanned multiple times at the State Farm Arena are debunked once again.

The outcome has always depended on Trump's ability to cause mass murder on the streets by calling out his extremist lieutenants to violence on his behalf.

The only way of measuring his ability before he acts could be dependent on Nikki Haley's reception by the Republican party. This could show signs of Nikki bearing fruit within a few days, to some degree, if it hasn't already?

Can anyone say whether Nikki is drawing any interest?
Or whether Trump's attacks on her have starting and whether they are sinking into her skin or bouncing off?

Will DA Willis press charges? After months of grand jury testimony and at least one of the witnesses lied during testimony. Fanni knows more than any of us right now.

LOL, you mean like how they kicked out republican observers while democrats continued to count votes...

From the report:

"We find by a unanimous vote that no widespread fraud took place in the Georgia 2020 presidential election that could result in overturning that election," the report found.
