Melina Abdullah is a professor of Pan-African Studies at California State University. Her role in academia is "intrinsically linked to broader struggles for the liberation of oppressed people." She co-founded and is active in the Los Angeles Black Lives Matter chapter and is currently suing the national branch for allegedly siphoning off $10 million for a personal consulting agency.

Abdullah believes that capitalism needs to be dismantled and said that it was designed to oppress Black people.

Or maybe deep down somewhere she knows she wouldn't be successful at all if it weren't for living in a white capitalist country. There is a reason why there has never been a 1st world country in the history of the world that was a black country, there really hasn't even been any 2nd world black countries.

All of the blacks that made achievements have almost all been entirely living in white countries that were capitalist.

She should be grateful for being here which gave her the opportunity to be a professor and have an education instead of shitting allover the country.
