Palestinian Journalists Tear Gassed Demonstrating on World Press Freedom Day

Nation states continually try to erode freedoms including freedom of the press. That is why it is incumbent on all journalists to never stop resisting.

The enemies of free speech are at it again. Arresting journalists again, such a wonderful, freedom loving people.

Marching on World Press Freedom day, Palestinian journalists were dispersed with tear gas, while two journalists were detained during the march.
Palestinian Journalists Tear Gassed Demonstrating on World Press Freedom Day

First the protest was about prisoners at Ofer on yet another hunger strike.
The only mention of gas come from government owned and run press with poor freedom of speech record and some HRW.

No such reports on global mainstream news. Even palestinian press do not mention gas being used. They also do not mention world press freedom day. Their own record is dismal.

There is little or no such thing as freedom of the press or freedom of expression in retrograde Islamic controlled societies.

Why don't you identify for us where a message board such as this one exists in Islamic middle eastern nations?

Your silly, melodramatic whining doesn't reflect reality.

Take note, Habib, that the article you linked to has an identifiable bias. Why do you suppose tear gas was used?

I just don't see how you get past gassing journalists.
I clearly see your reading comprehension deficiency. Islamo-rock chucking will draw a response.

Read that again.

Again.

If you're still befuddled, raise your hand and ask for help.

I know they were gassed, illiterate. I think it is abhorrent to gas journalists for doing their jobs. You don't... not a shocker.

The bottom line here is simple: Gassing journalists is wrong.

That makes it fine to gas journalists...

but only in hollyworld.
