D.C. seems to have the erroneous belief that they are there primarily to be investigators instead of legislators. They investigate EVERYTHING these days, and the only thing I can think of is that it must be easier than doing their jobs.

WINNER. Investigation is much easier especially as none of their investigations ever lead anywhere to a conviction.

I wonder if when Rosenstein decided to appoint a special investigator, he realized the damage it was going to do to the FBI and everyone else involved because of the President's venal personality.

TRUMP's personality is no more venal than Obama's, who tapped James Rosens phones and tried to have him criminally hurt for merely doing his job, and turned the IRS, FBI and DOJ into weapons to be used against opposition in his elections.

It is amazing how people on both the left and right will reject things that defy their world view because they don't like what they are hearing. The entirety of America has turned into a world of 5 year old snowflakes that get mad at everything. I long for the days gone by where you could have a healthy debate and a drink without it being a catfight about fake news or false facts.

Is this kind of like when they asked Trump if HE would accept the outcome of the election?
Now they want a conflicted counsel that never should have been approved, was done so with specious means, with unlimited scope, unlimited time, infinite funding and now they want that he cannot be stopped no matter what he does, and we're worried that Trump has an agenda?
That pretty much assures that Mueller's mission is not to resolve an investigation, but to dig and dig until he finds SOMETHING to get Trump with.

Yes you do. You are dealing with someone who is unstable and most people agree is dishonest. The legislation that was talked about earlier would have allowed a 3 judge panel to decide whether a Mueller firing would be justified.

Who do you refer to, Mueller? Because if you mean Trump, SHOW ME where Trump has ever been unstable or dishonest. Trump was NEVER claimed either of these until he took office and in many hours of detailed interview I've watched, have never seen a hint of either. Dishonest? Maybe at best you confuse STYLE, at worst you confused business acumen. Show me an "honest" businessman and I'll show you one out of business.
