Hopefully when I have dementia they can just eject some poison into me and let me die fast....Starvation seems kind of evil.

You would have liked the Nazi regime who entered hospitals and took the very sick to basements where they did just that.

If you can't be a productive contributor to the state, the state has no use for you.

with that i agree......seems every damn decision made is based on 9/11

Kay gotta run and post more stuff good talking to you, don't forget dig deeper into that rabbit hole . But make sure it's in all the right places.

PORTLAND, Ore. (ChurchMilitant.com) - A bill in Oregon's senate is crafted to allow mentally ill patients to be starved to death.

Oregon Bill Legalizes Starving Dementia Patients

Awww the liberals even want to kill Grandma wow Bill Gates is having a great effect on the rejects of society. He even said kill grandma to save a teacher, fk that teacher .

This is one of the fundamental differences between Capitalism and Socialism.

In Capitalism, everyone would pay for their own care, their own food, their own shelter... and their own families.

The people of these mental patients should be the ones who step up and support their families.

But under socialism, inevitably, ends up being a cruel hard state.

Leftist get around this by pushing the myth that someone else will pay for it. But there is no 'someone else'. The state has limited resources. No matter how much you think you can collect in taxes, the amount if finite.

As a result, you end up with tough choices on how to use limited resources.

So in Canada, if you are over 60 years old and need hip surgery, you can't get it.

Patients go private to alleviate wait times for surgery

Or if you are in the UK, and you are too fat, you don't get treatment.

Because with limited resources, do you want to spend thousands on old people that are not likely to work and be a benefit to society (and thus pay the taxes to cover the cost of the treatment they got), and who could die the very next day?

Especially when you could use that money to pay for the treatment of someone younger, slimmer, who is likely to be productive and pay taxes, and live many decades after?

In Capitalism, people get what they pay for. They pay for it, they get it.
In Socialism, everyone pays for it, and few get it.

I'm a 67 year old Canadian about to get knee AND hip replacement surgery. My ex MIL who is in her late 80's and can barely walk, got her hip replaced 3 years ago, even though there was little hope of her recovering mobility due to muscle loss.

My ex's 90 plus year old grandmother had cancer surgery and chemo even though she had advanced dementia and was in a locked down nursing home. I thought that last was one ridiculous but not my decision.

Don't tell me that socialized medicine doesn't provide services to the elderly.
