Order of Protection not as good as a gun....

Well, in Wisconsin a man just murdered his wife with a hatchet....

Police say an Arlington Heights man murdered his estranged wife with a hatchet after the woman took out a restraining order and was hiding at a friend's house in Wisconsin.

On Wednesday night, police say the woman, 36, pulled into the driveway of her friend's home in the 600-block of Calvin Lane in Mt. Pleasant, Wis, unaware that her husband was waiting nearby. Police say that he attacked her with a hatchet. A witness heard someone screaming and a body was seen being dragged across the front lawn to a vehicle before the suspect, 38, fled the area with the victim, police said.

Well, this is a perfect anti gunner story....not one gun was used in this killing....they should be happy....right?

Hmmmm...a hatchet at Walmart costs about 10 bucks...no background check, no need to register it...he could by one even if he was a felon....and as to that new stupid law in California which allows the police to take someones guns if they are the subject of a restraining order....would not have stopped this murder....

Excuse me....a hatchet only costs $6.88 at Walmart....no concealed carry classes needed, no fee for permits....

And yet....this woman was still murdered...

Of course....maybe, just maybe...if she had had a gun and been trained in it's use, and had some self defense training for awareness of threats...she might be alive today....

Was this hatchet black or did it have a collapsable handle?


If so it should be considered an Assault Hatchet and be banned

What should we do if someone kills with bare hand? Should we prohibit bare hands?
I admire people with logical disabilities. The world is so complicated for them, but they manage to survive.
