Its Derby Line VT.....And this is the exception to the rule.
Since 9/11 most crossings which were open and free to residents of the respective towns, are no longer open. Crossings are permitted only at certain places.
Of course this policy is largely ignored by locals because some homes are so close to the border, that in order to back out onto the street from their driveway, they must cross the border.

More mistakes but it's your call. You might know normal situations but this would be anything but. They already know what you might be expecting and have accounted for it.

I always remember this story. A good example of not a normal situation. Ted Bundy walked right out the front door with a rather expensive item. The store protected themselves from shoplifters but he walked right out the front door and no one said a word - with a canoe, something no normal person would ever try to steal and that's why he got away with it.
