Only in America...mother, jumps out of shower, grabs gun and saves her children....anywhere else and the story is less positive....

And just as easily can go the other way.

Red Flag #4.........from your link......

Cohabitants of owners also had higher risks for dying by homicide outside the home.

This was an unexpected result, not clearly related to the handguns we used to define the exposure in our study, because California law generally requires firearms to be kept at home
-----

Our study has several limitations. First,
we could not determine whether the nonowners in our sample were killed by the actual handgun owners or handguns that defined them as exposed; this limitation is less relevant to homicides perpetrated by strangers and others with whom the deceased did not reside.

Second, some cohort members may have been misclassified as unexposed because, for example, they or their cohabitants acquired handguns unlawfully
---

Fourth, our results suggest that exposed cohort members also had higher risks for dying by nonfirearm homicide.

And this is why they don't bother looking at the make up of the people in the home.......because most of the shootings like this happen among criminals......or drug users....or alcoholics.....they do not want to look at normal people who own guns because normal people aren't shooting each other in their homes....

So....Jack.......you Chinese Communist pay masters will not be pleased with this poor attempt.....
