There is now a concern among the media that the Trump Administration is actively planting stories which they can then deny and point to as examples of "fake news" in the MSM.

One recent example is the idea of using the National Guard to round up illegal immigrants. A draft Memo of how to do this was "leaked" to the press, from Homeland Security, which went with the story and the Trump Administration denied they ever considered such a thing.

What the press were able to learn was that the Administration had asked someone to draft such a memo, but no such idea was ever considered. So why ask for a Memo?

Apparently the Memo was deliberately leaked so the press would make a big to do about it and the Administration could say - "You see, Folks. The media lies, they can't be trusted, this is just another example".

It's one thing to not like the stories being written, but quite another to deliberately try to undermine the credibility of the press by planting fake stories.

Translation: Trump trolled them and they bit hard on it! Winning!
In the process, White House leakers will be found out. Bonus winning!

And meanwhile, Trump's approval will remain at 35 to 45 percent over the next 4 years.

Why do you find it necessary to lie? Do you figure you already have no credibility so you have nothing to lose? Granted, that is a valid point.

Update: New numbers just released by Gallup show the slide continues. Trump's numbers dropping to 38 percent approval and 56 percent disapproval.

Scarborough is a moron. The press is the ally of every Democrat president and the enemy of every Republican president. The MSM is the propaganda arm of the Democrat party. They are the opposition media. History demonstrates that fact over and over again.

Scarborough was one of the media personalities who was lobbing softballs at trump during the primary. I'm guessing he thought Hillary would crush him in the general.
